Bounce House | Food Truck | Music | Sponsorship Opportunities

KIDS UNDER 18: $35 | ADULTS: $45

Last year, the Ohana Pickleball Tournament helped send more than 800 kids to an FCA camp. Lives were changed! This year, we’ve grown into the FCA Ohana Color Dash - a one-mile burst of color, energy, and purpose for kids, parents and families to experience together.

Every step directly provides financial assistance for local athletes who otherwise could not afford to attend an FCA camp.

What makes the Color Dash special is that everyone can participate. Whether you're a runner or walker, age 5 or 105, this is a family celebration where everyone belongs. Participants move through 5 vibrant color stations, enjoy a bounce house and games, food trucks, live music and an unforgettable after-dash party.

The 1 mile course will be fully paved, flat, stroller & all abilities friendly. All ages, stages and abilities are welcome to participate!

  • Who can participate?

Everyone! The event is open to all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, walker, or just looking for a fun, family-friendly day out, the Color Dash is for you.

  • Do I need a Ticket to participate?

Yes — registration is required to take part in the Color Dash.

While the Color Dash is a fun, inclusive community event, it’s also a fundraiser for the Art Taguding Ohana FCA Camp Scholarship Fund. Every registration goes directly to send local athletes to an FCA Camp who otherwise would not be able to attend due to cost.

  • Do I have to run?

    Absolutely not.

You can run, walk, roll, skip, dance, stroll, or vibe any way you'd like around the course. There is no timing, no pressure, and no "right" way to do the Color Dash.

  • Can I bring my family?

YES! The Color Dash is a family-friendly event and kids are welcome. There will be activities after the Dash to keep the fun going.

  • Is the event accessible?

YES – accessibility is built in by design. The course is suitable for wheelchairs, mobility aids, strollers and people who prefer to take things at a slower pace.

  • What do I wear?

Every participant will receive a white (branded) tshirt before the Dash begins. This will help maximum color impact, and ensure you don't have to drive home in messy clothes. Closed-toed shoes are recommended.

Pro tip: bring a change of clothes for the ride home. There will also be Color Dash swag available to purchase druing the event.

  • What happens after the Dash?

When you're ready to finish, head over to the Family Area, featuring:

    • Food Truck
    • Live Music
    • Bounce House
    • Kids Activities
    • Seating area to picnic
    • Photo ops
  • Can I volunteer at the event?

Absolutely! Email carleighrich@fca.org to see where we can get you plugged in!

  • Where do the event proceeds go?

    All proceeds support the Art

    Taguding Ohana Camp Scholarship Fund.

Last year, sponsors helped over 800 kids attend FCA camps where they experienced the hope and truth of the gospel. This year our goal is $50,000 to send even more kids.

  • Is the color powder safe?

Yes, the powders are made from natural, non-toxic ingredients and are safe for both people and the environment. They're also easy to wash off after the event.

  • How do I clean up after the Dash?

Wondering how to get color powder off of your skin and hair after the run? Follow these instructions:

Dust off or blow off as much powdered paint as possible before you jump in the car or plop down on your white sofa! A gas powered leaf blower can be very helpful. Color powder washes right out! Just take a shower, grab a bar of soap and some shampoo and you should be set! Dawn dishwashing soap is excellent to wash out the colored chalk – it seems to do the trick on washing it out of skin. If you have light colored hair – sometimes the colors can have a little bit more staying power! It will wash out in a few days. Sometime you just have to have a sense of humor! But if you have a photo shoot the next day and you don’t want pink hair, then you may want to wear a hat or try oiling your hair with Coconut oil before the race.

Wondering how to get color powder off of your clothes after the event?

It’s nothing a tumble through the washing machine won’t take care of! Color Powder washes out of most clothing but since we haven’t tested every fabric under the sun you may want to leave your favorite running clothes or evening dress at home. Dust off or blow off as much powder as possible before washing. You may want to wash your color branded gear separately in cold water. If it doesn’t wash out the first time, don’t put it in the dryer and try some stain remover or bleach (white clothes only) the second time around.
